IPhone 7 Plus Explodes After Being Accidentally Dropped on the Ground

We might have passed the worst of the exploding Galaxy Note 7 madness, but a new report from China suggests Samsung isn't the only one with this problem. A report from Chinese tech site Gizmochina says an Apple iPhone 7 Plus exploded after being dropped.

 This has been circulating in Chinese media and according to a report on this Chinese website, the phone started emitting smoke and vibrating vigorously after the drop. Next, the battery exploded, leaving a burnt device with the screen almost detaching from the chassis.
