Pregnant Woman Dies Four Months BEFORE Giving Birth-How Is This Possible

One of the most precious joys of life is to bring a new life, becoming a mother. It is during this time when a mother to be takes all precautions on her healthy for the safe birth of this child. However sometimes ailments surround the person so badly that the chances of survival become low.

When a Portuguese woman, Sandra Pedro, found that she was pregnant, she consulted her doctor. The doctor told her that since she had history of ailments, there were risks in her pregnancy. She however decided to continue with her pregnancy, here’s a look at her amazing story- a mother’s true love:

Sandra had a history of pneumonia and heart problems. She also a kidney surgery because of a tumour and for some time she was in coma as well. The doctors told her that due to her condition her pregnancy was risky.

She Then Had Brain Haemorrhage

After a couple of months of her pregnancy, sandra had a brain haemorrhage and she was brain dead, however to the surprise of doctors, her baby was still alive..

SANDRA WAS CLINICALLY DEAD

The doctors conducted a final echocardiogram on Sandra and they found that although Sandra was clinically dead, the baby in her womb was still alive. When Sandra’s family was told about this, they decided to keep the baby alive on life support machines. Sandra was then put on ventilator and she had tubes to feed her, keep her breathing and was put on essential hormones.

A Miracle Baby Was Born

 SOURCE While Sandra lay on ventilator and life support drugs, 107 days a premature baby was born. The baby weighed 5lb 2oz. According to the doctors the vitals of the baby were quite impressive. The baby was put on incubator as the miracle baby was born premature.

Family Bid Goodbye To Sandra

After the birth of the baby, the doctors disconnected Sandra from the life support drugs and ventilators. They handed over Sandra’s body to her family for funeral. Sandra’s sister said that even though she knew she may not survive, she wanted to give birth to this baby, this is the love of a mother.
